We believe the Bible is the divinely inspired word of God without mans thoughts or interpretations. God used holy men to pen down the 66 books without error or contradiction.
We believe the King James Version Bible is the closest translation to the original transcripts. The King James Version is a literal word for word translation. When the translators had to add words for sentence structure, they are in italics. Most other translations are thought-for-thought translations. They add, change, and subtract to make the verse say what they “thought” it should be interpreted to say. For instance, the Preface to the NIV says, “…they have striven for more than a word-for-word translation…” (2 Peter 1:20-21 , John 17:17 , Psalm 12:6 , 2 Timothy 3:16 , Proverbs 30:5-6 , Romans 15:4 , 1 Corinthians 10:11 , Revelation 22:18-19 , Deuteronomy 4:2 , Psalm 119:105 , Isaiah 34:16 ).
